All Hockey and Seattle Junior Hockey Association are working together to provide the greater hockey community with a truly premiere, high end training opportunity . As the name states, this clinic is comprehensive. All Hockey will not only focus training in the core areas of On Ice Skill Development, but also provide players with much needed Off Ice Training that focuses on physical strength, agility, general conditioning and stick skills.
Coaches have been chosen for their high level of aptitude as players and teaching experience. Each on ice and off ice coach has been selected for their ability to demonstrate and unpack skills into teachable components.
Primary Focus will be the following:
1. Powerskating - biomechanics/posture, stride, range of motion, inside and outside edge proficiency, agility, pivoting, transitioning, tight turning, etc.
2. Overspeed Training -
3. Passing - Proper hand position, giving passes and receiving with sustained movement
4. Puck Protection -
5. Agility - Proper positioning over the skate blade, strike point, with and without the puck
6. Maintaining Ice Awareness - Training "head up" style of play with and without the puck.
STRENGTH TRAINING - Players will receive first class, primarily body weight training to enhance on ice performance and overall health. We are extremely excited to announce that Paramount Crossfit will be providing all off-ice training sessions for this clinic. I urge players to take a closer look at this gym and to consider the benefits that can be obtained via the experts at their facility . Contact info can be found below. Their trainers will be onsite for this clinic, providing crossfit method - high-intensity, targeted workouts that include plyometric movements, explosive agility, coordination development, core muscle strenthening and more.
Clinic participants will receive 75 minutes of On-Ice Training and 60 minutes of Off-Ice Training on Mondays and Tuesdays for 8 weeks.

*If you previously attended the All Hockey Spring Clinic, you are welcome to use your existing White Jersey and do not have to order the this years Black and White model (though you may want it).

An offensive defenseman, Erik Hanson was tendered ahead of the 1st round of the U.S.H.L draft by the Dubuque Fighting Saints. He became a top ranked player and was recruited by several division 1 programs. Among these were Colorado College, UMASS Lowell and University of Vermont.
Coach Hanson has been developing hockey players in the Pacific Northwest for over a decade. His expertise in skating mechanics and ability to demonstrate complex skills sets allow players a unique opportunity for growth. Coach Hanson's methods of training are utilized by players just beginning a path of focused skill development to players making hockey their professional career.
Marty Rubin is a graduate of Wesleyan University where he played four years of NCAA DIII hockey. He also played elite prep hockey and Tier I junior hockey in the northeast. Marty, as a player, is a gifted skater and an intelligent defensemen. As a coach and educator, Marty is known for his high energy. He inspires his players to incorporate a detail-oriented approach to their game and he enjoys connecting with his players personally so that they may develop a deep love of hockey for life. Marty is currently the Hockey Director for the Seattle Junior Hockey Association and coaches both the Northwest Admirals 14U A2 and Northwest Stars 14U A1 teams.
Stevie Bryant grew up playing at SJHA. A skilled forward, he went on to play Junior A hockey in the NAHL, AJHL and most recently was recruited by and played for UMASS Boston. Stevie has always been committed to skill development from his early morning trainings throughout youth hockey to summer conditioning and preparation for junior and collegiate performance. His experience has allowed him a clear understanding of how to unpack the complex skill sets required to become a dominant hockey player. Stevie looks forward to sharing his skills and expertise with the hockey community.
