Welcome

All Hockey 2022 Winter Clinic

All Hockey and Seattle Junior Hockey Association continue to work together to provide the greater hockey community with a truly premiere, high end training opportunity this coming December 19-22.

This winter we will provide training in the core areas of On Ice Skill Development with an emphasis on skating and provide players with Off Ice Training that focuses on physical strength, agility and general conditioning.

Coaches are chosen for their high level of aptitude as players and their ability to break down complex skills into teachable components.

Primary Focus will be the following:

ON ICE

1. Powerskating - biomechanics/posture, stride, range of motion, inside and outside edge proficiency, agility, pivoting, transitioning, tight turning, etc.

2. Overspeed Training -

3. Passing - Proper hand position, giving passes and receiving with sustained movement

4. Puck Protection -

5. Agility - Proper positioning over the skate blade, strike point, with and without the puck

6. Maintaining Ice Awareness - Training "head up" style of play with and without the puck.

OFF-ICE

Players will have a 45 minute yoga session, between on ice sessions, with a professional instructor that is familiar with hockey and works with athletes. Focus will be on building strength and coordination while increasing flexibility.  For 20 years +, yoga has been a significant part of player manuals and development at an NHL and international elite level.  All Hockey is excited to have the provide an opportunity to expose participants to another important tool that will help each athlete to experience greater health while enhancing their athletic aptitude.
